4.7.1 General Management Statutes Generally

In addition to agency-specific organic or enabling acts, framework statutes, and penal laws you also have a fourth and final category of general management statutes that apply to all agencies across the board.

There are a lot of exceptions in many of these statutes for matters related to national security, but, in the absence of a specific exemption, they apply equally to the actions of all intelligence agencies regardless of their function, or cultural aversion to the rule of law.

I’m going to run through a list of some of the most important General Management Statutes, to give you an idea of what’s covered.[1]
