2.3.4 Statutory Law

The second most powerful category of law is statutory law.

Statutory law includes the same two elements:

1)      First and foremost, it includes the blackletter legal rules written in the text of duly enacted statutes passed by the United States Congress; and

2)     Second, it includes all of the holdings in binding judicial decisions interpreting those statutes.
